What is an internal mediation scheme?

In a nutshell, internal mediation schemes embed mediation into the systems, processes and culture of your Trust. Selected managers and HR receive mediation awareness training and a panel of accredited, internal mediators are fully trained and accredited to resolve workplace disputes, patient complaints and other types of conflict.

For many of our NHS clients, establishing an internal mediation scheme has been one of the most effective ways of introducing mediation into their Trust. TCM has developed internal mediation schemes in a number of NHS Trusts:

TCM offers three types of internal mediation scheme to our NHS and other clients:
